Stay in the Moment
Still processing it....but I had a near death experience last night. I was walking home from work, in a faraway zone thinking of 20 million things, and almost got hit by a car. Thank God for angels. The driver stopped just in time. She was literally inches from me. I didn't see her until the last minute. There was this moment that passed between us where we looked at each other in relief and gratitude. It only lasted for a few seconds but it was profound. She wasn't angry, irritated or upset with me. Just calm. I would hug her now if I knew who she was. I'm sharing all this to say...live in the moment. Always. Nothing is more important than the present. Nothing.
