La'Chris Jordan's horror feature Poe's Disciple recently placed as a Quarterfinalist in the Horror Category for the Table Read My Screenplay Competition Summer 2022. The screenplay centers on Rebekah Cordoba, a 17-year-old girl who is being bullied by students at the prestigious prep school she attends. When a mysterious, caped man begins taking revenge on the bullies, Rebekah must confront her past in order to stop the vicious attacks.
This marks the second award for the adapted screenplay which is based on author Dani Lamia's fiction novel The Raven scheduled for release by Level 4 Press in February 2023.
